Southampton outcast Danny Seaborne has been shipped out on loan to Charlton.
The defender has played just three matches so far this season - all in the League Cup - and Nigel Adkins has no plans to use him in his first team.
Seaborne, 25, joined Southampton from Exeter in 2010 and this is his first loan spell while under a contract at the club.
Charlton manager Chris Powell has signed him for a month with the possibility of an extension if he does well at the Valley.
