Stoke City striker Mamady Sidibe has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a 28-day emergency loan deal.
The Malian forward has made just two substitute appearances for the Potters since the start of last season and is well behind in the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium.
He shone during Stoke's promotion campaign in 2007/08 and Owls boss Dave Jones will be hoping the 32-year-old can replicate his powerful displays for the Championship side during his loan spell.
