Leicester's triple threat makes it easy against Blackburn

Leicester kept up their run for promotion as they beat Blackburn 3-0 at home in the Championship to stay in the play-off spots.

Chris Wood opened the scoring in the 29^th minute, before Tottenham loanee Harry Kane grabbed his first goal for the club ten minutes later. Both goals came from Ben Marshall corner’s.

Andy King scored their third in extra time, to leave them fifth in the table and five points from automatic promotion. The result leaves Michael Appleton’s Rovers sitting in 11^th.

There was also a 1-0 home win for Bolton over bottom club Peterborough, following their impressive performance at the weekend.

Craig Dawson found the net with a headed goal in the fifth minute to give Wanderers all three points.

While Huddersfield Town got their first win under new boss Mark Robins as they look to head up the Championship table.

James Vaughn scored in the 55^th minute to give them the points at Burnley’s Turf Moor.
