Manchester United striker Bebe is still two weeks away from making his debut for the club.
Sir Alex Ferguson stunned the football world when he landed the Portuguese forward from Guimaraes earlier this summer.
Ferguson shelled out £7.4m for Bebe despite admitting he had NEVER seen him play - but he believes the Portuguese Under-21 star will make the grade at Old Trafford.
Confusion reigned this week when Bebe appeared to have been left out of United's Champions League squad but that was down to an administrative error on UEFA's part.
Bebe has been named in the Champions League squad although next Tuesday's home match against Rangers appears to have come too soon for him.
But United have earmarked the September 22 clash against Scunthorpe in the Carling Cup as the match for Bebe to make his bow.
United are adamant the player has the ability to succeed at the club and his absence so far this season has been put down to a lack of fitness. But having played - and scored - on international duty for Portugal Under-21s in midweek, Bebe is approaching full fitness.
