Arsene Wenger has hit out at Stoke fans who booed Aaron Ramsey during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with the Potters.
The Gunners midfielder suffered a double fracture in his lower leg after a horror tackle by Ryan Shawcross in 2010 but has fully recovered now and has made over 40 appearances for his side this season.
Fans at the Britannia on Saturday heckled the star throughout the score draw and Arsenal boss Wenger believes Stoke supporters should be more responsible with what they say.
“I don’t think that you can be proud to boo Aaron Ramsey,” he told talkSPORT.
“I don’t see what he has done wrong in his behaviour but that’s an old story where the fans of Stoke stand behind their player, it shouldn’t go as far as booing Aaron Ramsey though.”
