The Anfield chief, who succeeded Kenny Dalglish in the summer, has found himself under pressure following a below-par start to the season, but midfielder Henderson has no doubts he will turn things around.
The midfielder is yet to produce his best form for the club following his big money move from Sunderland, but he believes Rodgers is the man to get the best out of him.
Henderson told talkSPORT: “He (Brendan) has been brilliant and done very well since he’s come to the club. For me, he’s definitely improved my game in certain parts and I feel as though I’m a better player.
"I think I have definitely shown that in the last few performances and hopefully I can keep building on that.”
Henderson was part of the Liverpool team who lost 3-2 to Udinese at Anfield on Thursday, after leading 1-0 at half-time in the Europa League.
He said: “I think in the first half we dominated the game and got the goal. In the second half we started a little sloppy and they managed to score early.
“It was a bad start for that second half. I still thought we dominated the game after that and had a lot of the ball and some good chances. There were a lot of positives from the game but definitely some lessons to be learned. Hopefully we won’t do that on Sunday (against Stoke).”
