Chelsea star Oscar admits he has had to grow up fast since moving to England and is still learning how to adapt in the Premier League.
The former Internacional youngster was highly coveted in the summer and it appeared Tottenham were close to landing him.
But Chelsea's financial clout - not to mention their Champions League winners' title - convinced the playmaker to move to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth around £25m.
A stunning goal against Juventus in the Champions League recently served notice of the 21-year-old's burgeoning talent and he is pleased with his progress so far.
"I did not expect it to be so fast. Of course I'm still in a period of adaptation. But Chelsea is a great club with great players. My teammates are helping me a lot in the process," said Oscar ahead of his country's internationals with Iraq and Japan.
"I've grown up a lot in recent games because they are teaching me.
"The team also helped me take the first step in English football. Hopefully everything continues well. Chelsea has given good things to me."
