Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has no doubt in his ability to bring about better results after their 2-0 away defeat.
Adkins saw his side remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League after their latest loss at The Hawthorns.
“I am a far better manager than I was six year ago and when I joined Southampton ,” he told Sky Sports.
“I am far more experienced. I have a hunger and desire to lead this football club. The supporters have been fantastic since I have been here.
“The players are with me and I am positive.”
Adkins believes his side have to start doing the basics well.
"We are simply conceding too many goals and that is something that we have to work on," he added.
