The Austrian starlet, 21, had put the Villans 2-0 up at Villa Park against Manchester United only to see Javier Hernandez come off the bench at half time and earn their opponents a 3-2 victory.
But there were positives for Lambert to take from the game as they impressed with their attacking football.
And Weimann told Call Collymore that the players at Aston Villa are finally happy with how they are playing.
He said: “I think we’ve been playing quite good over the last couple of weeks and I think it’s starting to come together.
“I think you saw [against Manchester United] we all work hard for each other and we’re really enjoying our football at the moment.”
