Trotta, 20, has failed to appear in the Premier League this season. His only senior outing for Fulham this term came in the Capital One Cup, where he managed 27 minutes as a substitute against Sheffield Wednesday.
With the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Bryan Ruiz, Mladen Petric and Hugo Rodallega all ahead of the Italian in the forward pecking order, Jol is understandably keen for him to continue his development elsewhere.
However, the Dutchman is not confident the youngster will find a temporary club before the loan window slams shut on November 25.
When asked if he had received enquiries for the 20-year-old, Jol said: "No. There's no club interested now. I hope that there will be a club, a good club in the lower leagues that would like to have him on board because he needs games.
"Then if not we have to wait until January."
