Emmanuel Frimpong has distanced himself from a permanent Arsenal exit – but has opened the door to a possible loan move away from the club.
The 20-year-old broke in to the Gunners first-team squad last year and was subsequently loaned to Wolves in January for further development, only for a serious knee injury to cut short his season.
The midfielder returned to action in September but has only played two games for Arsene Wenger’s side since.
His absence from the first team has fuelled speculation that the Ghanaian could be set to leave Arsenal, but Frimpong said on twitter he’s happy at in north London.
"Subject to rumours am not leaving afc I am positive of going on loan this week which am really excited about and I am fully committed to afc," said Frimpong, who has been at Arsenal since he was nine years old.
"And am not in my last year or looking to be sold just to clear matters thank you and going on loan to get games and cum [sic] back to Arsenal."
