Clarke: West Brom players need to keep their feet on the ground

West Brom manager Steve Clarke has told his players to keep their feet on the ground after their 2-1 win over Chelsea moved them in to the top four.

Goals from Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie sandwiched Eden Hazard’s equaliser at the Hawthorns.

And, despite their success so far this season, Clarke wants to take each game as it comes with Baggies, although he want the club’s fans to enjoy their victory over the Champions League winners.

He said: “We know our objectives. We know what we’re trying to do. We go from game to game. I’ve said that on a number of occasions this season.

“We have to keep our feet on the ground. We have to keep working. We have to keep building the points tally and see where it takes us.

“If the supporters want to get a bit carried away and enjoy the moment then I think they should. It’s a really good time to be a fan of the Albion.”
