Liverpool striker Luis Suarez remains Juventus' number one transfer target - and the Serie A champions could try again for the forward in the New Year.
Juve boss Antonio Conte is desperate to add some quality to his frontline, especially after missing out on Suarez, Robin Van Persie and Spain international Fernando Llorente during the summer.
Conte feels Suarez's sharp finishing, coupled with his dribbling ability and link-up play, would fit Juve's system perfectly.
Following murmurs of recent interest from Manchester City, Liverpool insisted they would refuse to entertain any offers for Suarez, who has already scored 13 goals this term.
And the Anfield side's reluctance to sell this season could hamper Juventus - although the Old Lady refuse to give up their hopes of bringing the Uruguayan to Turin.
