West Ham co-owner David Gold has revealed that Ricardo Vaz Te is on track to return next month after a long lay-off with a dislocated shoulder.
The striker, who hit the winning goal in last season's Championship play-off final, sustained the injury during West Ham's 3-1 defeat by Arsenal in October.
It was predicted that Vaz Te would miss three months of action and Gold took to Twitter to confirm that the 26-year-old's rehabilitation is going smoothly.
He said: "Ricardo Vaz Te is responding well to treatment and should be back late January."
