Former Spurs striker Clive Allen believes the club can finish in the top four this season.
Tottenham have won four games on the bounce in all competitions for the first time since February 2011 as Andre Villas-Boas finally looks to have got his side to gel at White Hart Lane.
And Allen feels, with the players at his disposal, the Portuguese manager could well lead his charges back into the Champions League after a two-year absence.
He told the Weekend Sports Breakfast: “It’s been an indifferent start but what [Andre Villas-boas] has is a magnificent squad of players. He has got some top players within the squad.
“He’s got players that have found their form over the last few weeks and they’re capable of finishing in the top four, as we did last season and they must be striving for that and they’ve got a great chance.”
