Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez has told talkSPORT that Fernando Torres can continue to improve as he builds a better understanding with his team-mates.
And Benitez is confident he can get back to his best, but only with a little help from his team-mates.
He told Call Collymore: “It was a great finish for [Torres] and great movement from the rest of the team and I think that if we create more chances Fernando will score more goals.
“It’s a question of confidence and also the team helping him. I think now the understanding is a little bit better but I would still like to improve little things.”
And Benitez admitted he is pleased with the improvements that he has overseen at Stamford Bridge, despite limited time on the training pitch.
He added: “I think the team, as a team, was doing very well. Obviously we have players in attack that have quality but we're trying to manage the defenders as well.
“We were defending as a unit and attacking as a unit so everything we have talked about we were doing on the pitch. You can see the commitment is there and I’m really pleased for them.
“In eleven training sessions you cannot change too much, especially when you have games in between.”
