Rodgers: Liverpool display had everything in win over Fulham

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for his players after an impressive 4-0 home win over Fulham.

Martin Skrtel, Steven Gerrard, Stewart Downing and Luis Suarez were all on target for the Reds at Anfield.

Rodgers said: “We have played as well as that if not better in a lot of our home games. It’s critical to get the first goal and if you can follow it up with a second one then it helps and we did that.

“It was a very pleasing performance because we had everything in our game. We had intensity, pressure and four goals with a clean sheet.”
