Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez has revealed that he will continue to tinker with his side as they re-emerge as title contenders.
For their game against Norwich the Blues boss ditched Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard from his starting XI following their 8-0 win over Aston Villa.
But, with Oscar and Mikel in their places, Chelsea ran out 1-0 winners at Carrow Road thanks to Juan Mata’s first half strike.
And Benitez has insisted he will keep rotating his players to keep them fresh as they hunt for the Premier League title.
“It’s not easy to keep the same players, said the Spaniard. “I like to change players and move them around because we have to manage the squad who are really tired.
“I think it’s really important to change players and today we had one or two new additions and that was good for the team.
“It’s a long, long [title] race so we have to keep doing our job, which is to win games and see what they do. We just have to keep an eye on the table.”
