Reading flop Cameron Edwards has signed for Melbourne Heart in Australia.
The central midfielder moved to the Madejski in 2011 from Perth Glory, but failed to make an impression in Berkshire. He was told he had no future at the club and was released following the end of his contract, before he joined the Nike Football Academy in July this year.
And now the 20-year-old, who had a trial at Melbourne earlier this month, has signed for the A-League club.
Melbourne Heart General Manager John Didulica said: "Cameron is a hugely talented left-sided midfielder with a professional work ethic and he has the capacity to be a great acquisition for the Club.
"It is not east to find silky left-sided players with elite experience, so we are happy Cameron has chosen to continue his football development with Heart."
