Reading midfielder Jay Tabb believes the team are capable of escaping Premier League relegation and insists the Royals will improve in the second half of the season.
“You look at how bad we have been in the first half of the season and we’re only five points off [safety], and that’s achievable,” the Royals man told Hawksbee and Jacobs.
Reading currently sit in 19th place in the top flight, with only two league wins under their belt since winning promotion as winners of the Championship last season, and while Tabb reflects on a disappointing first half of the season, he believes safely is still in reach.
“We haven’t got the results we’d have liked, but we’re still in touching distance of being safe.”
