Aston Villa miss out on Udinese star Pablo Armero
Aston Villa have missed out on Pablo Armero after the Udinese defender joined Napoli on loan.
Armero, 26, will remain at the Stadio San Paolo until the end of the season, with Napoli holding the option to make the deal permanent for £5.7m in June.
Villa boss Lambert had targeted the Colombia international but failed to reach an agreement with Udinese.
