Swansea are ready to offer Dwight Tiendalli a new contract at the Liberty Stadium.
Tiendalli has impressed in south Wales after moving to the club in September and has expressed his desire to stay at the club.
Neil Taylor's long-term injury forced Michael Laudrup into the transfer market, where he landed free-agent Tiendalli following his release from FC Twente.
The 27-year-old full-back is only at Swansea until the end of the season but it is understood that Swansea are keen on giving him a longer deal.
