Stoke City have completed the signing of Birmingham City star Jack Butland in a £3.3 million move rising to £3.5million.
The England goalkeeper, 19, has been on the radar of several top clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea, but he has opted to join the Potters.
And as part of the deal he will rejoin the Blues until the end of the season.
Butland told Stoke’s official website: “I have come here to a great Club, and I am looking forward to the challenge of playing in front of a great fan base.
“The move here ticked all of the right boxes for me, so it was quite an easy decision for me to make to be honest.
“The staff are absolutely fantastic here, and I am convinced that I will continue to develop my game here.”
