Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina says this has been his most "unsettled" season at Anfield.
The summer appointment of manager Brendan Rodgers and the introduction of his new tactical approach and new signings has led to mixed form in the Premier League as the Reds rebuild for their long-term future.
But Reina, speaking to Spanish paper Marca, says fans should be patient as the club continues its transformation.
"This has been the most unsettled season, both personally and as a team, since I joined the club," he said.
"Liverpool is going through a transitional period, with new ideas and a different playing philosophy. That takes time. People have to be patient. It's normal for us to be erratic."
