Younes Kaboul set for Tottenham return after six months out

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a major fitness boost with the news that Younes Kaboul will return to training next week.

The French defender, 27, will take part in a session on Monday as he looks to get fully fit following a knee operation in August.

And Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas, who will have to do without Brazilian midfielder Sandro for the rest of the season, is still remaining cautious despite the prospect of the imperious centre-back returning to the first-team.

"He's going to rejoin training on Monday," he said.

"Still, it's going to be his first training session since August, so we have to be very, very careful. Hopefully he will be able to play in two to three weeks."
