Chelsea insisted it was 'business as usual' on Thursday morning - despite Rafa Benitez's astonishing outburst after the Blues' 2-0 FA Cup win at Middlesbrough.
The Spaniard lashed out at fans' behaviour and the fact he was named 'interim' coach when taking over from Roberto Di Matteo at Stamford Bridge.
His criticism sparked suggestions the 52-year-old's time in west London could come to an end shortly, rather than as scheduled at the end of season.
But a Chelsea spokesperson said: "It's business as usual."
It's understood Benitez will take training at the club's Cobham base this morning and, at this stage, is expected to be in charge for Saturday's Premier League clash with West Brom.
