Arsene Wenger insists he hasn't made special plans to deal with Gareth Bale ahead of Arsenal's crunch derby clash with Tottenham on Sunday.

The Welshman has produced a series of breathtaking performances in recent months to fire Spurs up to third in the Premier League table and he is likely to be the main dangerman when Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane.

The Gunners are four points and two places behind their bitter rivals and Wenger has described this weekend's fixture as a "must-win" game as his side battle to keep their hopes of Champions League qualification alive.

When asked how his side would deal with Bale, he said: "We don't plan for anybody.

"This is a must-win game. It is down to results on the football pitch.

"Spurs always had great players. We try to win the game."
