Former Liverpool midfielder Jimmy Case has told talkSPORT that Premier League defences just can’t cope with Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan has been in exceptional for the Reds this season netting 22 goals in the Premier League, making him the division’s top goalscorer.
His performances have been enhanced by the arrival of strike partner Daniel Sturridge in January.
And Case reckons that his attitude and tireless running up top mean he is tough to deal with.
He told the Weekend Sports Breakfast: “His work rate off the ball [is brilliant]. He’ll play anywhere for you and obviously he can still get in the box as well.
“People can’t handle him. It’s as simple as that. He’s relentless and he’s in your face. He’s like a boxer, you punch him in the face but he comes back at you.”
