Pulis: Stoke are learning how to juggle European and Premier League football

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis believes he and his players are finally learning how to deal with the demands of Europa League football.

The club had lost every Premier League game that had followed a group stage match before their 1-0 victory over Everton.

And Pulis believes that making changes to their preparations for weeks where they play two or three games helped them to get all three points against the Toffees.

He said: “I think maybe it’s not just about the players [learning], it’s about the manager, the football club and everything that we do, the way that we prepare [for Europa League football].

“Maybe I’m learning as well because we’ve changed one or two things this week.”
