Alex backs pal Ramires to make the grade at Chelsea
Chelsea defender Alex has been assigned to make new boy Ramires feel at home - especially as the two are now neighbours!
The two Brazilians live side by side in Surrey and Alex is confident his teammate will make the grade at Stamford Bridge despite recent criticism that he is off the pace and not yet strong enough for the Premier League.
Alex said: "I think Ramires is a great guy, very humble and he never forgets his origins. This can only help him to settle here and I will also do my best to make sure he feels welcome - especially as he lives next door to me now so I spend a lot of time with him.
