Aston Villa boss Alex Mcleish has insisted he is not worried by the impending departure of Robbie Keane.
The striker, on a short-term loan from LA Galaxy, has been a revelation since arriving in mid-January scoring three goals in six appearances and leading the forward line to great effect.
But now with the experienced striker ready to return to the MLS, McLeish faces a shortage of options in attack.
He claimed this is not a problem which is not concerning him, saying: “We’ve got people like Gabriel Agbonlahor missing tonight.
“Stephen Ireland can play in Robbie’s position. He has played that [role] to great effect in recent weeks.”
