Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez would consider a move back to his native Argentina - if his family asked him to.

Speaking on South American television the striker said: "I am happy at the moment in England and I don't have any plans to return to the Argentina League, unless my relatives asked me to.

"I am tired of fighting and I want to have a little peace. Every time I change clubs it costs me more to make decisions but if my daughter asks me to then I would."

The former Manchester United player is keen to make up for his country's World Cup defeat to Germany in next summer's Copa America in Argentina, but he admits that his international form has not been helped by a stressful start to the season at City.

He added: "I have had a very complicated year in the Manchester City but I expect to arrive well physically for the Copa America."
