
Liverpool have completed the signing of defender Paul Konchesky from Fulham for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old has signed a four-year contract at Anfield to be reunited with his former Craven Cottage boss Roy Hodgson.
Lauri Dalla Valle and Alex Kacaniklic have headed in the opposite direction to Fulham as part of the deal.
Konchesky will compete with Fabio Aurelio for Liverpool’s left-back slot, with Emiliano Insua expected to complete a move to Galatasaray.
Hodgson is also bidding to land a striker before the the 6pm transfer deadline, with Carlton Cole believed to be his number one target.
