Ghana star Anthony Annan is hoping to secure his dream move to the Premier League in January.
The Rosenborg midfielder has been strongly linked some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Annan has made no secret of his desire to leave his Norwegian club but was unable to force through a move during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old's star is rising after his superb performances for Ghana in the World Cup helped his country to the quarter-finals for the first time.
And Annan's agent, Lars Petter Fosdahl, is looking to secure his client a January switch to England.
Fosdahl said: "I spoke to a number of Premier League clubs over the summer but we couldn't complete a move.
"We still hope something will happen in January - it's no secret Anthony feels it would be a great honour to move to a big club in England."
Rosenborg paid £1.25m for Annan in 2008 and although they managed to keep him at the club this summer, they are bracing themselves for further interest when the market re-opens in January.
