Eden Hazard has been told to snub his dream move to the Premier League and stay in France - by his captain Rio Mavuba.
After years of speculation linking him with the Premier League, it has been reported that highly-rated Hazard will finally swap Lille for England this summer.
Tottenham appear to be favourites to land him, although all of the Premier League's top clubs have been linked with a move for the £35m-rated winger, and Roberto Mancini was in the crowd at a recent match to watch him in action.
But now, despite conceding that his team-mate is dreaming of a shot at English football, Lille captain Mavuba has advised Hazard to stay put for now.
He told RMC Sports: "Eden is very talented and he is one of the most physically powerful players I have met in my career.
"He is always perfecting his shots in practice and he will be a big star.
"It is normal to join a big club but I would advise him to stay.
"He tells us he dreams of playing in the Premier League and progressing as a player.
"But Lille can spend money on the team and we can improve for next season."
