Liverpool target wants move away from Sochaux

Ryad Boudebouz in action for Sochaux

Liverpool target Ryad Boudebouz wants to leave Sochaux this summer.

Boudebouz has been watched extensively by Liverpool's scouting network while Roberto Martinez is said to have tracked him at Wigan.

Martinez is currently in talks regarding the vacant manager's position at Anfield and if he gets the job, he could make his move for Boudebouz.

The attacking midfielder, who featured for Algeria at the 2010 World Cup, has been at Sochaux since 2008.

And now Boudebouz, 22, wants a new challenge.

He said: "Liverpool are a big club and there has been contact.

"I have to take my time, meet the president of Sochaux and talk things through.

"I still have a two-year contract but I want to leave."
