Arsenal could lose out to Udinese in race for Tunisia star

    Youssef Msakni

Arsenal are in danger of missing out on Youssef Msakni as Udinese step up their interest in the Tunisian playmaker.

Arsene Wenger is a fan of the 21-year-old, who starred in his country's run to the quarter-finals of this year's African Cup of Nations.

The Gunners boss has been linked with a summer approach for Msakni, who is not expected to cost more than £2m but Wenger is yet to lodge a bid.

Now, according to reports in Tunisia, Arsenal could miss out on him altogether as Udinese have made contact with his club Esperance Tunis and hope to seal a deal this summer.
