Brazil coach Mano Menezes has hailed Oscar and believes Chelsea will have a real star on their hands if they complete a deal for the 20-year-old.
The Internactional forward is thought to be close to sealing a £25m move to Stamford Bridge as Roberto Di Matteo adds to his Champions League winning side.
And Menezes, who has handed Oscar Brazil's mythical No.10 shirt for the Olympic Games, says he has every confidence the youngster will be a success.
"If he's wearing the 10 in the Brazilian squad it's definitely because he has lots of qualities," said Menezes.
"We respect the number 10 and we don't give that shirt to any player - they have to deserve it.
"He is a very intelligent player, he's capable of Reading what's going on in the match. He's capable of finding solutions to problems during the match.
"He's not a player who holds the ball when dribbling but he's going to read it well and find good things to do with the ball."
