Manchester City and Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost after Italian agent Mino Raiola revealed that Napoli striker Edinson Cavani is keen on a move away from the Stadio San Paolo.
Cavani, 25, has emerged as one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe after scoring 64 goals for Napoli over the past two seasons.
The 25-year-old, who is set to appear for Uruguay at the forthcoming Olympic Games, is regarded as Napoli's prize asset - club president Aurelio De Laurentiis stated earlier this year that he would only sell Cavani for an "exorbitant amount of money" - but Raiola believes the forward would leave Naples if given the chance.
Speaking to Italian radio station Kiss-Kiss, Raiola said: "Cavani, if he could, he would leave immediately, but the president is not easy in these matters."
