Former Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua is a target for several top European sides, reports Portugal-based newspaper Record.
Insua, who spent the 2010/11 season on loan at Galatasaray, left Liverpool for good last summer to move to Sporting Lisbon.
The Argentinian, who was frequently criticised despite showing promise early on at Anfield, has successfully rebuilt his career in the Portuguese capital, and he established himself as one of Sporting’s most important players last term.
Insua managed 44 first-team outings last season and play a key role in his side’s march to the semi-finals of the Europa League, where they were beaten by Athletic Bilbao.
And the 23-year-old's displays have not gone unnoticed, with several unnamed European clubs monitoring his progress.
