Juventus will lock horns with Spurs to sign Lyon’s Aly Cissokho after seeing their attempts to snap up Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov stall.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims the Serie A champions, who have tracked Kolarov for the last few months, have encountered difficulties in their bid to prise the Serbia international away from the Etihad Stadium.
City boss Roberto Mancini has publicly declared his intention to keep hold of Kolarov, despite the fact the defender is reported to be unsettled after seeing his first-team place taken by Gael Clichy last season.
And Juventus will now weigh up a bid for Cissokho, also a target for rivals Napoli, as they look to bolster their left-hand options before the start of the new Serie A season later this month.
Cissokho, 24, is widely expected to leave Lyon after four seasons at the French club, and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has been credited with an interest in the France international.
