Liverpool eye up Croatian starlet
Liverpool are eyeing a move for Hadjuk Split starlet Josip Basic.
New Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has already shown that he is willing to use young players - the likes of Suso, Andre Wisdom and Raheem Sterling have all featured prominently this term - and a move for Basic would appear to fit with his philosophy.
The 16-year-old captains Croatia’s under-17 side, and he is currently on scholar terms with his club.
His current deal expires in 2014, and Liverpool could look to secure his services before he signs a senior deal with Hajduk.
