Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is weighing up a move for PSV's free-scoring winger Dries Mertens.
Rodgers is keen to add goals to his side - before last weekend's 5-2 mauling of Norwich they'd managed just four goals in five league games - and Mertens has emerged as a possible transfer target.
The 25-year-old, who joined PSV from Utrecht last year, notched 20 goals in just 23 league outings last term, and has started this season with four goals in his first five games.
And according to sources in Holland, Liverpool will have to fork out £9.7m to land the Belgium international, who is contracted to PSV until 2016.
