Mesut Ozil has dismissed speculation of a move to Manchester United and insists he wants to remain at Real Madrid.
The attacker has been disappointing in recent weeks and the Spanish press have criticised his performances.
There has also been talk of a rift between Ozil and Jose Mourinho, which has led to renewed talk over his future at the Bernabeu.
United were keen on him back in 2010 but Real Madrid managed to land the Germany international from Werder Bremen.
Sir Alex Ferguson remains keen on the 23-year-old but Ozil insists he is happy to remain put for now.
"There is no single reason to leave Real Madrid," he told Bild.
"I don't need to prove anything to anyone - I enjoy playing football."
When pressed on talk of a move to United, Ozil added: "I play for Real Madrid and I cannot think of anything else. There is no reason for me to go."
