Borussia Dortmund have lined up Polish wonderkid Arkadiusz Milik as a potential replacement for Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski.
Milik is seen as the new star in Polish football and following a fine August in which he scored five goals in seven matches in the country's top-flight, he has been drafted into the senior squad for the upcoming internationals.
The rookie striker, who scored on his debut aged 16 for former club Rozwój Katowice, was previously on Tottenham's radar.
And after enjoying an eye-catching start to the season, the 18-year-old's form has attracted the interest of numerous clubs - most notably Dortmund.
The Bundesliga side are mindful of interest from United regarding Lewandowski, who has two years left to run on his current deal.
Dortmund will attempt to keep their star striker at the club by offering him a bumper new deal but United's interest could yet turn his head.
And the fact they are monitoring his fellow countryman Milik shows they are preparing for the prospect of seeing Lewandowski leave.
