France international Jeremy Mathieu has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Stoke City.
Mathieu, 28, began his career at Sochaux before moving to Toulouse, where he attracted interest from across Europe.
Despite links with several Italian clubs, Mathieu opted to join Valencia in 2009 and he has established himself as one of the finest left-sided players in La Liga.
The full-back, who can also play on the wing, is believed to be on Tony Pulis' radar, but he insists he is content at the Mestalla.
Speaking about talk of a switch to the Britannia Stadium, he said: "It is indeed only a rumour. I feel good here and I want to finish my career at Valencia."
