PSG president dismisses rumours of Taarabt move

Paris Saint-Germain have distanced themselves from speculation linking them with QPR playmaker Adel Taarabt.

The Moroccan was strongly tipped to join the French club in 2011, but a transfer failed to materialise.

It was thought the oil-rich French club would revive their interest in the 23-year-old, but their president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi insists he has no plans to take the enigmatic midfielder to Paris.

Speaking to Algerian newspaper Le Buteur, he said: "Despite rumours in the press we have not made any move for the player. Right now, he is not in our plans."
