Tottenham could be set to rekindle their interest in Miralem Pjanic after it was revealed that Roma want shot of him.
Spurs eyed a move for the 22-year-old during the summer as they looked to replace fellow playmaker Luka Modric.
But Roma, who signed him from Lyon back in August 2011, were not then prepared to sell.
Pjanic has since struggled to get into the first team this season and has started only two of their eight Serie A games so far.
And reports in Italy have suggested that the Italian club would be willing to sell, while the Bosnia and Herzegovina international is open to a move if it gets his career back on track.
Real Madrid are also understood to be interested although he would not be guaranteed first-team football at the Bernabeu.
So it has been suggested that a switch to White Hart Lane would appeal to him most, with Roma hoping to net around £15m for his sale.
