Juventus have joined Spurs in the chase to sign highly rated Roma forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
Osvaldo, who moved to Roma from Espanyol last year, scored 11 league goals and set up five more during his debut campaign in Italy.
He has started this season well too, scoring five times in six Serie A starts.
But there are suggestions he has had a rift with Stadio Olimpico chief Zdenek Zeman and champions Juventus, who failed to sign a top-class forward during the summer, are ready to offer him a route out of the Italian capital in January.
Spurs were credited with an interest in the £11m-rated Italy international during the summer, but it remains to be seen whether they will follow that up with an offer when the transfer window re-opens in two months' time.
