Stephan El Shaarawy is set for a new contract at AC Milan amid continued interest from Manchester City in the striker.
El Shaarawy, 20, has begun the season in fine form, scoring nine in 14 appearances in all competitions.
He has been scouted by numerous clubs across Europe and it is understood Premier League champions City are watching him closely.
The forward, capped twice by Italy, has a contract at Milan until 2017 but that has not stopped speculation over his future.
Despite having five years to run on his existing deal, El Shaarawy is in talks over an extension which would improve his terms at the San Siro.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani told Sky Italia after being pressed on City's interest: "Enough of this talk. He has a contract, and will soon sign an extension."
